Ich bin 1976 in Chur geboren und in Davos aufgewachsen. Nach der Matura und einem Zwischenjahr in Florenz bildete ich mich im Lehrerseminar in Chur zur Primarlehrerin aus. 2012 schloss ich das berufsbegleitende Masterstudium zur Schulischen Heilpädagogin an der Hochschule für Heilpädagogik in Zürich ab. Seit 1999 arbeite ich als Lehrerin und Heilpädagogin. Momentan absolviere ich eine Ausbildung in Poesie- und Bibliotherapie an der europäischen Akademie für Kreativitätsförderung EAG.
Seit meiner Kindheit ist es für mich wichtig, mich kreativ auszudrücken. Ich habe in diversen Chören und auch an Opernproduktionen im Chor mitgesungen. Im Lehrerseminar habe ich dann meine Leidenschaft für die bildende Kunst entdeckt.
Als ich von 2003-2005 als Primarlehrerin an der Schweizerschule in Mailand arbeitete, erhielt ich beim anerkannten Aquarellkünstler Roberto Prina während 2 Jahren privaten Malunterricht. Dort erlernte ich alle Techniken der Aquarellkunst. Schon damals merkte ich, dass mich besonders die Portraitkunst interessierte und faszinierte. Momentan experimentiere ich mit freien Maltechniken und lasse in die abstrakten Werke lyrische Texte hineinfliessen.
Regelmässig bilde ich mich an der Kunstakademie Bad Leichenhall (D) mit Malkursen weiter. Dabei hat mich der Künstler Alexander Jeanmaire bestärkt, die Kombination zwischen Bild und Text weiterzuverfolgen, da das Wort dem Werk noch eine tiefere Dimension gibt.
*2016 stellte ich an der länderübergreifenden Ausstellung CREAture zu Ehren von Alberto Giacometti in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Centro Giacometti in Italien einzelne Werke aus.
*2017 präsentierte ich mit der Unterstützung von Frau Gioconda Segantini-Leykauf (Enkelin von Giovanni Segantini) in der Kirche “Chiesa Bianca” in Maloja meine erste Bildereinzelausstellung “Soul Mirror”.
*2018 durfte ich an einem Tag auf der offiziellen Facebookseite der international bekannten Band “Depeche Mode” meine gemalten Portraits des Sängers Dave Gahan einem Millionenpublikum vorstellen.
*2019 wurde im November an der Kunstakademie Bad Reichenhall (D) das Bild “der gestürzte Engel” an der Jahresausstellung vorgestellt.
*Im Herbst 2020 fand in der Kauffabrik Trübbach meine 2. Einzelausstellung “der LustSTURz” statt.
*Im Winter 2022/2023 präsentiere ich die Kunstausstellung “Flumine vivo” im Rathaus Sargans.
I was born in Chur in 1976 and grew up in Davos. After graduating from high school and a gap year in Florence, I trained as a primary school teacher at the teacher training college in Chur. In 2012, I completed the part-time master’s degree in remedial education at the School of Remedial Education in Zurich. Since 1999 I have been working as a teacher and special educator. Currently, I am completing a training in poetry and bibliotherapy at the European Academy for Creativity Enhancement EAG.
Since my childhood it has been important for me to express myself creatively. I have sung in various choirs and also in opera productions in the choir. Then, in teacher’s college, I discovered my passion for visual arts.
While working as a primary school teacher at the Swiss School in Milan from 2003-2005, I received private painting lessons from the renowned watercolor artist Roberto Prina for 2 years. There I learned all the techniques of watercolor art. Even then I noticed that I was particularly interested and fascinated by portrait art. Currently, I am experimenting with free painting techniques and let lyrical texts flow into the abstract works.
Regularly I educate myself at the art academy Bad Leichenhall (D) with painting courses. In the process, the artist Alexander Jeanmaire has encouraged me to pursue the combination between image and text, as the word gives the work even a deeper dimension.
*2016 I exhibited individual works at the transnational exhibition CREAture in honor of Alberto Giacometti in collaboration with the Centro Giacometti in Italy.
*2017 I presented with the support of Mrs. Gioconda Segantini-Leykauf (granddaughter of Giovanni Segantini) in the church “Chiesa Bianca” in Maloja my first solo painting exhibition “Soul Mirror”.
*2018 I was allowed to present my painted portraits of the singer Dave Gahan to an audience of millions on one day on the official Facebook page of the internationally known band “Depeche Mode”.
*2019 was presented in November at the Academy of Art Bad Reichenhall (D) the painting “the fallen angel” at the annual exhibition.
*In the fall of 2020, my 2nd solo exhibition “der LustSTURz” took place in the Kauffabrik Trübbach.
*In winter 2022/2023 I present the art exhibition “Flumine vivo” in the town hall Sargans.
