Hommage an Dave Gahan von Depeche Mode

Ich darf sagen, dass ich seit vielen Jahren ein grosser Depeche Mode Fan bin. Konzerte dieser Band und den Soulsavers habe ich schon in New York, Moskau, Milano, Zürich, Nizza, London und Paris besucht. Besonders die Bühnenpräsenz, die gesangliche, körperliche und emotionale Ausdrucksfähigkeit und unverwechselbare Stimme des Bariton-Leadsängers Dave Gahan faszinieren mich.
Durch eine zufällige Gegebenheit begann ich vor 3 Jahren Dave Gahan zu portraitieren. Beim Malen des ersten Bildes merkte ich, dass es besonders interessant und herausfordernd war, seine Gefühle und Emotionen darzustellen.
Der Spiegel der Seele, das Innere im Menschen soll durch die Acrylbilder mit dem Betrachter in Berührung treten.
Der spirituelle Ort der Kirche – Chiesa Bianca in Maloja in der Schweiz und die Kraft der Musik soll den Bildern zusätzlichen Ausdruck verleihen.
Es würde mich freuen, alle Interessierten und viele Depeche Mode Fans an meiner ersten Ausstellung begrüssen zu dürfen.

Soul Mirror – Art Exhibition with music and dance

Tribute to Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode

I have been a big Depeche Mode fan for many years, seeing them live in concert many times around the world including New York, Moscow, Milano, Zurich, Nice, London and Paris. I have also seen the band Soulsavers live, as this band is a side project for the lead vocalist Dave Gahan. Dave Gahan fascinates me as a baritone lead singer because of his singing ability and stage presence. He has a physical and emotional expressiveness which is very distinctive.
Three years ago I began to paint Dave Gahan by chance. While I was painting the first image, I realized that it was particularly interesting and challenging to present his emotions and feelings. The observer should get in touch with the “mirror of the soul” and the depth of human experience. The Church – Chiesa Bianca – in Maloja, Switzerland is a spiritual site. This spiritual place together with the power of music will enhance the expressiveness of the paintings.
I would be pleased to meet everyone who are interested in my art and of course all the Depeche Mode fans who will come to my exhibition.
